Michel was born in Paris, France but has spent all of his post - WW II life in the Seattle area where he attended Garfield High School and the University of Washington. Immediately following law school graduation from the University of Washington, Michel entered private practice and has been a partner in several Seattle based law firms. Although devoted to the practice of law, Michel has been engaged in several business enterprises and is a founding partner of the Bellevue Club. He has been involved as an attorney with leading real estate developers, private lenders, and varied business enterprises. During the most recent period, Michel has expanded his practice to include estate planning and probate. Michel has served on the board of many non-profit organizations as well as serving as a Judge Pro-Tem in Seattle and Mercer Island District Court and an Arbitrator of the King County Superior Court. He is married to Bobbie Stern and they have three adult children. Oh yes, he enjoys playing an occasional mediocre round of golf in the Pacific Northwest as well as Palm Desert.
