Biography

Rick Phillips is a paralegal in the Condominium/Homeowners Association department. He contacts homeowners or their counsel regarding assessment delinquencies and works directly with Associations to negotiate settlement offers or proposed payment plans. Rick drafts pleadings including foreclosure lawsuits, motions and affidavits for a monetary judgment or judgment and decree of foreclosure, summary judgments and garnishments. He also drafts and files creditor’s notice of appearance, proof of claims, objection to plans in the ECF Bankruptcy System, and works with the Chapter 13 trustee if any problems arise.

Prior to joining Oseran Hahn, Rick worked at a Seattle law firm as a condominium paralegal in a similar role and has over twenty years’ experience in the legal profession.

Rick resides in Carnation, Washington with his wife and their two small children. Outside the office he enjoys hiking and spending time with his family. Rick enjoys running and has completed two full marathons and several half marathons.
