Jerry Hahn co-founded Oseran Hahn in 1965 and spent more than five decades building a firm known for steady counsel, careful drafting, and the long view of a client relationship.
Jerry began practicing in Seattle in the mid-1960s, when he and Melville Oseran opened the small partnership that would become Oseran Hahn. From that founding desk he built a practice that touched nearly every corner of Pacific Northwest legal work, and over the decades he was the attorney clients called for the moments that mattered: the sale of a family business, the loss of a parent, the dispute that needed a steady hand, the next generation taking the keys.
More than the cases, Jerry shaped how the firm works. Colleagues credit him with a culture that prizes a balanced life and taking care of every client, large or small, and he has continued to take on occasional pro bono work for clients who could not otherwise afford counsel.
Jerry retired from the firm in December 2016, after 55 years in practice, and turned to other pursuits, including a serious passion for sculpting. He and his wife, Michelle, enjoy time with their daughters and grandchildren, and he can still be found on the squash or pickleball court, the golf course, or a good fly-fishing river.
