About the firm
Oseran Hahn has counseled Pacific Northwest businesses, boards, and families since 1965. Three generations of attorneys, one office in Bellevue, and a way of working that hasn’t changed much because it doesn’t need to.
— How we practice
We deliver clear thinking and practical answers to every situation, because no two clients, transactions, or disputes are ever the same. We take the time to understand the business inside out, the family dynamics behind it, and the outside forces that shape what’s possible.
We’re patient negotiators and careful drafters — calm under pressure, responsive to the wrinkles that inevitably arise, and direct about the trade-offs. Our work has earned the firm a Martindale-Hubbell AV rating and, more importantly, clients who come back.

Since 1965
Oseran Hahn began in 1965 as a Seattle partnership between Melville Oseran and Jerry Hahn. From those two desks the firm has grown into eleven attorneys serving individuals, family businesses, boards, and large corporations — but the working model is the same: senior lawyers, full attention, and the patience to find the right answer.
We are “deal makers, not deal breakers.” Our platform is built on integrity, efficiency, and care — values that show up in how we draft a contract, run a mediation, or sit with a family at the kitchen table.
Who we serve
What we believe
We come to the table looking for the shape of a workable answer — not the longest road to one.
We write things in language a client can actually use. If a sentence requires a lawyer to read, we keep editing.
Our attorneys average more than twenty years in practice. You get judgment on the file, not handoffs.
Calls and emails get a real response the day they arrive — even if the answer is ‘working on it.’
In their words
Oseran Hahn has been our family’s counsel for three generations. They understand the business and they understand us.
Straightforward, quick to respond, and patient with a board that asks a lot of questions. Exactly what an HOA needs.
They didn’t talk us out of anything. They talked us through everything, and then we made a much better decision.
