HOA & Condominium Association Law

Counsel for boards on governance, enforcement, construction defects, and member relations.

The firm has represented community associations across the Eastside for more than two decades. Our HOA and condominium practice covers governance, assessment collection, governing-document amendments, construction-defect claims, and the litigation that occasionally follows. The work spans Washington's HOA Act, Condominium Act, WUCIOA, and the 2026 amendments, each with its own quirks for boards to navigate.

How we work

Boards are volunteers. Our job is to give them the legal scaffolding to do good work without making the legal department their second job. Plain-language meeting prep, clear answers on the hard governance questions, a steady hand when an enforcement situation escalates, and the trial attorneys ready when a dispute heads for court. We write a quarterly newsletter for community-association boards that members actually read.

When to call us

Before the board adopts a new rule. When an assessment goes unpaid. When a homeowner files suit. When the developer transition gets contested. When the legislature passes another HOA bill (which happens often). When a covenant amendment is on the next ballot. We try to make the legal piece feel manageable, no matter how complicated it actually is.
