Dennis Brislawn served as a Shareholder and, later, Of Counsel at Oseran Hahn, with a practice built around planning for the future of business owners and their families: estate and charitable planning, wealth protection and transfer, tax reduction, and the more creative corners of estate planning, including gun trusts and the lawful possession and transfer of firearms.
Over more than three decades, Dennis helped thousands of clients across the wealth spectrum shape plans that outlast them. He is a frequent speaker on planning matters and earlier in his career co-founded Brislawn Lofton, PLLC, where his work deepened in business and tax planning, asset protection, and the intersection of family-business succession and personal legacy.
Dennis earned a B.A. in psychology, with honors, from Gonzaga University in 1978 and his J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law in 1988. He took a Regular Army commission and served seven years on active duty before transferring to the Army Reserves in 1985 to attend law school. He has held an AV Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell.
Dennis gives his time as a board member for local charitable organizations and as an operations leader in volunteer four-wheel-drive search-and-rescue units. At home there are three cats and two dogs, an espresso habit (“coffee in any form except decaf”), and a motto he keeps coming back to: “Trust, but verify.”
