Nick Pleasants is a Shareholder at Oseran Hahn whose practice focuses on estate planning, probate, trust administration, guardianship and conservatorship, and the disputes that sometimes arise around an estate.
Nick helps individuals and families plan for what comes next and guides them through administration and probate when the time comes. He handles estate-planning matters from the straightforward to the complex, advises fiduciaries and families through trust administration and guardianship and conservatorship proceedings, and represents clients in estate and trust disputes when a matter is contested.
A Seattle native, Nick studied at Columbia University and earned both his J.D. and an LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Washington School of Law, where he led the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association. After law school he practiced civil litigation for four years at his father’s firm, and when his father retired he founded his own practice before joining Oseran Hahn.
Nick is an active member of Chinese Southern Baptist Church in Seattle’s International District, where he serves as a trustee and outreach leader. He describes himself as curious, compassionate, and detailed, and he is also, by his own account, a competitive curler who once found himself seated next to LeBron James on a flight to his own honeymoon in Italy.
