Tom Hansen is an experienced transactional attorney with more than three decades of commercial and residential real estate, finance, and construction practice in the Pacific Northwest.
Since his admission to the Washington State Bar in 1990, Tom has concentrated on commercial and residential transactional work: real estate, real estate finance, construction, environmental, corporate, and business planning. Clients rely on him for the careful drafting and disciplined diligence that keep a complex deal from drifting.
He represents real estate developers, construction companies, private lenders, commercial landlords, property owners, and tenants across a broad range of matters. He has worked with U.S. and international companies on the purchase and development of commercial property in Washington and surrounding states, and he has represented commercial lenders and borrowers across the full range of project, permanent, and refinance financing. He also guides sellers and buyers through every step of a residential transaction, from the first conversation to the recorded deed.
Tom earned a B.S. in Forestry from the University of Washington in 1984 and his J.D. from Seattle University School of Law. Outside the office he cycles, hikes, works wood in his shop, coaches youth sports, and gives time to community causes.
